Robyn Gougelet

Robyn Gougelet is responsible for advising on public health legislative and regulatory policy strategy for tobacco harm reduction efforts at Pinney Associates. Robyn supports efforts to communicate the continuum of risk for nicotine-containing products to a wide range of stakeholders.

Before joining Pinney Associates in 2015, Gougelet worked at Trust for America’s Health (TFAH), a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization in Washington, D.C., dedicated to saving lives by protecting the health of every community and working to make disease prevention a national priority.

In that role, Gougelet helped to inform members of Congress and their staff about implementation of prevention and public health programs created by the Affordable Care Act. As part of her work at TFAH, Gougelet advocated for public health programs during the appropriations process.

Before joining TFAH, Gougelet worked as an intern in the office of Senator Jeanne Shaheen during the debate and passing of the Affordable Care Act.

Gougelet graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland with a degree in history and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. As an undergraduate, she also studied history and politics as a visiting student at Lady Margaret Hall at the University of Oxford.
